General Questions
What is the cancellation policy?
We have a 48 hour cancellation/ no show policy. If you cancel in under the 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment or no show you will be charged 50% of your scheduled service. A card is required to be securely kept on file for this policy. When booking an appointment you are agreeing to this policy.
What is the late policy?
We have a 15 minute late policy. If you arrive 15 minutes or more late, you will either receive a shortened service or have to reschedule. If we have to reschedule, you will be required to place a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the service in order to book your appointment. If you opt to receive the shortened service the price will remain the same.
What types of payments are accepted?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as cash and checks. Unfortunately we do have to charge a card fee for all card transaction so to avoid that fee we suggest using cash or checks as your form of payment.
Can I bring a guest/ my child to my appointment?
Yes!
Our space is a cozy and intimate place with limited space for other guests so we ask that you keep that in mind if you plan to bring someone else with you.
We recommend you leave the kiddos at home to be able to fully relax and enjoy yourself but we also understand that might not always be realistic. We are working with hot tools, sharp sheers, and many different chemicals so please keep that in mind if you choose to bring your child. You will be fully responsible for your child if you choose to bring them along.
Extension Questions
What kind of extensions do you offer?
I am currently offering machine and hand-tied wefts. I offer Jz Styles and Covet + Mane extensions, with being able to offer both brands, I am able to offer a wide range of colors and textures so if you are a curly hair girlie you are able to have extensions now too!
How often do I need to purchase the hair?
Both Jz Styles and Covet and Mane's lifespan is 6-12 months, depending on how well they are being cared for at home! Typically you can get 9-12months out of your extensions before needing to repurchase.
How do I care for my extensions?
We have created an aftercare manual for you to take home and there is one listed under "guides" that you can always refer to!
Will extensions damage my hair?
The short answer.. NO! There is this common misconception that extensions are damaging when in reality people have had those experiences due to going to a stylist that doesn't have the proper tools and knowledge OR they are not taking care of their hair or extensions properly at home.. leading to damage. This is a 50/50 relationship, working together we will keep your hair happy and healthy. At the Luxe Mane, your hairs integrity is our #1 priority.
Blowout Packages/ Membership Questions
Does my package expire?
Your blowout package does NOT expire.
When will I be billed for my membership?
Your billing date is the date you signed up for the package. The membership bills monthly on the same date. We CAN'T change the billing date.
